Hardening edge AI against railway vibration

Challenge
A North American railway operator deployed Jetson AGX Orin edge computers on rolling equipment. Sustained vibration set up resonance between the upper and lower housings; screws backed out and, in the worst cases, enclosures separated.
What we did
Our engineering team identified the root cause: the wall-mount suspension wasn't rigid enough for a rail environment. The fix integrated a SUS304 stainless-steel bracket into the chassis, upgraded fasteners, and specified NYLOK thread-locking screws throughout — while trimming material weight without compromising strength.
Hardware
EAC-5000 series (Jetson AGX Orin) · Reinforced Wall Mount Kit

Outcome: Productized as the Reinforced Wall Mount Kit, now offered for any high-vibration installation.

Fleet vehiclesTransport & railSmart city

Vehicle-mounted edge AI at fleet scale

Challenge
A fast-growing fleet-intelligence company needed rugged compute mounted under commercial trucks, running AI workloads on every route. Volumes were climbing every month, and Jetson module price changes hit their unit economics directly.
What we did
We standardized a single vehicle-mount configuration and manage supply and module pricing for them, so every production month ships on one consistent build.
Hardware
Vecow Jetson Orin edge computers · undercarriage mounting

Outcome: Our largest program today — scaling to dozens of units every month on one consistent SKU.

Roadside AI for an intelligent-traffic integrator

Challenge
A U.S. intelligent-traffic integrator needed compact, wide-temperature Jetson units for roadside cabinets, at a price point that worked for municipal contracts.
What we did
We spec'd an EAC-6000 Orin Nano configuration and supplied the NVMe SSDs ourselves, cutting cost per unit — then fulfilled from our Texas warehouse for fast delivery.
Hardware
Vecow EAC-6000 (Orin Nano 8GB) · PCIe Gen4 NVMe SSD

Outcome: Pilot unit followed by a production follow-on order on the same configuration.

AgtechRobotics

Sealed, GPS-aware compute for field robots

Challenge
Agricultural robots work in dust, rain, washdown and temperature swings — and need precise positioning. Off-the-shelf boxes weren't sealed, and adding external GPS and IMU modules meant more cables and failure points.
What we did
We delivered a custom IP67-sealed EAC-6000 variant with GNSS and IMU integrated, documented as the customer's own part number for their production BOM.
Hardware
Custom Vecow EAC-6000 IP67 (Jetson Orin NX) with GPS + IMU

Outcome: Program sized for hundreds of units as the fleet scales.

Warehouse roboticsRobotics

GPU edge compute for warehouse robotics

Challenge
A warehouse-automation startup with a PhD-heavy engineering team needed discrete-GPU performance inside a fanless, vibration-tolerant box — and hard data on how far they could push CPU turbo and power limits.
What we did
We placed the program on Vecow's EVS-3000 platform and provided detailed thermal validation data and power-limit tuning guidance.
Hardware
Vecow EVS-3100 (Intel Core + NVIDIA MXM GPU)

Outcome: 40-unit blanket order, delivered on a scheduled release plan.

Jetson Thor for a global enterprise automation leader

Challenge
A global enterprise automation company was moving its next-generation platform to Jetson Thor and needed a configuration that matched its engineering spec exactly — cameras, CAN, wireless and storage.
What we did
We built a customer-specific EAC-7100 SKU: Jetson T5000 with 128GB, eight GMSL ports, four CAN, pre-installed Wi-Fi and a 256GB NVMe SSD — with build and ship dates managed by our team.
Hardware
Vecow EAC-7100 (Jetson T5000, 128GB) · 8× GMSL · 4× CAN

Outcome: A dedicated SKU the customer can reorder by part number.

Secure, remotely managed compute for a Tier-1 innovation lab

Challenge
The innovation lab of a global automotive Tier-1 supplier needed edge AI hardware that its corporate IT team would approve: full out-of-band management and a base OS image it could build and harden from source.
What we did
We supplied the EAC-5000-OOB with 64GB AGX Orin, set up on-premises Allxon management, and delivered the complete BSP source package — plus cross-border import handling into Canada.
Hardware
Vecow EAC-5000-OOB-R64 · Allxon out-of-band management

Outcome: An approved, IT-compliant platform positioned for the lab's broader computer-vision rollout.

Industrial AI visionAI infrastructure

A 200-unit GPU inference rollout

Challenge
An industrial AI-vision company needed 200 identical GPU-accelerated systems for customer sites — with a platform that would stay available for the life of the deployment.
What we did
We are qualifying the platform and structuring volume pricing for a 200-unit order built around NVIDIA RTX GPUs.
Hardware
200× NVIDIA RTX-class GPU edge systems

Outcome: In progress.

Drone autonomyAI infrastructure

On-prem compute for a drone-autonomy platform

Challenge
A drone-autonomy software company needed on-prem infrastructure for customers who can't send footage to the cloud.
What we did
We are running two parallel projects: a GPU workstation for processing, and an on-prem appliance using power-loss-protected (PLP) NVMe so data survives unexpected shutdowns.
Hardware
GPU workstation · on-prem appliance with PLP NVMe

Outcome: In progress.

Humanoid roboticsRobotics

Time-synchronized compute for dexterous robotic hands

Challenge
A developer of dexterous robotic hands needed tightly synchronized sensing and control across many joints and tactile sensors.
What we did
Under NDA, we're building a joint demonstration that pairs their hands with Albatron's NeuronEDGE time-synchronization hardware and Jetson compute.
Hardware
Albatron NeuronEDGE (TALO-N1000, TALO-M1000) · Jetson compute

Outcome: Active partnership.
